The Used Isobaric Filling Monoblock Alfatek TBV 24/32/4 ISO up to 4500 bph is a high-precision bottling machine designed for the controlled rinsing, filling, and capping of still and sparkling wines. Configured with a 24-station rinser, 32 isobaric filling valves, and 4 capping heads, it offers a balanced combination of speed, product care, and operational flexibility. The machine is engineered to perform at a nominal capacity of approximately 4,500 bottles per hour for still wine and around 4,000 bottles per hour for sparkling wine, thanks to its dual filling modes: gravity filling for still products and traditional isobaric filling for carbonated products.
Constructed from stainless steel throughout, the monoblock provides excellent durability and hygiene. All product contact parts are made from food-grade stainless steel AISI 316L, ensuring resistance to corrosion and maintaining wine purity during processing. Transparent polycarbonate guarding surrounds the working area, allowing visual inspection while providing full operator safety. Each access panel is fitted with interlocked safety switches to meet industry safety standards.
The layout of the monoblock is compact yet service-friendly, with easy access to all mechanical and pneumatic components. The integration of the three main functions—rinsing, filling, and capping—into one frame reduces transfer points, limits bottle handling stress, and optimises space usage within the bottling line.
The rinser section features 24 grippers mounted on a rotating carousel. Bottles are inverted and subjected to a dual-treatment rinse cycle: an initial rinse with water or sanitising solution, followed by an air blow using sterile or filtered air to remove any residual liquid and particles. The grippers are designed for precise neck handling, ensuring secure positioning of bottles throughout the rinse cycle, regardless of format.
The filling section uses 32 traditional mechanical isobaric valves with pneumatic actuation. This system is known for its robustness, easy maintenance, and accurate fill level control. The filling process can be operated in gravity mode for still wine, providing faster throughput, or in isobaric mode for sparkling wine, preserving carbonation levels and minimising oxygen pickup. Each valve is equipped with a vent tube for precise level setting and a pre-evacuation stage to reduce dissolved oxygen, improving product shelf life and stability.
The capping turret has four heads, capable of applying both cylindrical corks and BVS screw caps. The changeover between closure types is supported by adjustable head assemblies and interchangeable tooling, allowing the machine to handle a wide range of premium wine formats without extensive downtime. The capping process is synchronised with bottle infeed and outfeed to ensure accurate closure placement and torque or insertion depth control, depending on the closure type.
This monoblock is configured to handle a broad range of wine bottle formats, including Bordolese Standard TS/BVS, Bordolese Conica TS/BVS, Conica Elite TS, Nobile TS, Authentique TS, Borgognotta TS, Adriatica 1 Litre TS/BVS, and Arno 1.5 Litre TS. Changeover parts are designed to maintain bottle stability and centring during transfers between carousels. The infeed is managed by a screw conveyor for smooth spacing of bottles, while transfer between turrets is performed by precision starwheels made from high-resistance food-grade polymer.
The rotation direction of the machine is clockwise when viewed from above, with bottles entering on the right-hand side and exiting on the left after capping. This configuration is compatible with a wide range of line layouts and integrates seamlessly with upstream depalletizers and downstream labelling or packaging equipment. The infeed and outfeed conveyors are synchronised with the monoblock’s main drive via frequency-controlled motors, ensuring a steady flow of bottles without collisions or gaps.
