The Used blow molding machine KRONES CONTIFORM 310 PRO year 2020 operates with 10 rotary blowing stations, specifically engineered for the continuous production of PET containers. Consequently, the machine delivers a maximum output of 18000 bottles per hour, providing high throughput even during demanding operations. It efficiently processes bottle formats of both 0.5 liters and 2 liters, ensuring flexibility in production.

Heating System and Preform Handling

The system uses a type 06 heating module with a 36.4 mm chain pitch, designed to process preforms with neck ring diameters up to 35 mm. As a result, it handles a wide range of packaging formats. Eleven heating elements raise the preform temperature, while motorized reflectors adjust their height to optimize energy use. Specifically, the system supports preforms weighing 27.4 g, 38 g, and 46 g, all in transparent PET. Each format is optimized for ideal stretching ratios depending on the final container geometry. Furthermore, KRONES ensures that each preform passes strict dimensional verification to guarantee compatibility.

Preform Feeding and Orientation System

The CONTIFEED RS unit manages preform loading through a combination of silo, elevator, enclosed conveyor, and 2500 mm roller orienter. In addition, a simple tipper accommodates carton-packed preform batches with a maximum load capacity of 540 kg, thus ensuring consistent and uninterrupted feed. Notably, this layout minimizes manual intervention and increases overall reliability.

Internal Preform Cleaning

Before entering the heating module, preforms pass through the PREJET LINEAR system, which removes internal dust and debris using compressed air at 5 bar. As a result, this process ensures compliance with hygiene protocols required in beverage packaging. In fact, KRONES designed this feature to support applications where internal contamination could compromise quality or safety.

Cooling System

KRONES integrates a dedicated cooling unit inside the machine to stabilize mould temperatures during the blowing phase. It uses Pekasol L, a CFC-free refrigerant fluid that meets current environmental regulations. Consequently, the machine supports both efficiency and sustainability.
